"Growing up, I was always completely obsessed with dogs. I would get dressed and walk around to the neighbors houses and ask to walk their dogs. Finally, I got my own, after years of begging when I was 11, Angel my little pug. When she passed, my dad rescued an old dog from NYC who was used as bait in dog fighting rings. They told us we couldn’t adopt him and he wouldnt make it through the week. We fought for him and lived 10 more years. I started my love of rescuing after that. I rescued my Min Pin from the side of the road in Tennessee. Last year, my fiancé and I adopted our own little “wolfie boy” as we call him, from a 34 dog hoarder case in Tiverton Rhode Island. He is half husky, half German Shepard and is as sweet as could be. I started walking dogs professionally in Providence in 2019, and in late 2023, Joined Tails and Trails where I feel like I’ve really found my home professionally. Here, I get aid in the dogs really having their own instinctual experiences in the woods and running off leash with their companions. This job professionally is incredibly fufilling.
